What we handle
We handle stucco repair for homeowners across Santa Fe, from the straightforward jobs that just need doing right the first time to the ones that take a closer look before anyone can honestly say what they'll cost. Either way, we find the cause first, then quote the repair that fixes it rather than the one that's easiest to sell.
Each part of the work has its own page: Stucco Repair, Stucco Crack Repair, Stucco Water Damage Repair, Stucco Hole and Impact Repair, Stucco Delamination Repair, Stucco Flashing and Drainage Repair, Stucco Lath Replacement, Stucco Resurfacing and Finish Matching, and Stucco Remediation and Wall Rebuilding.

The usual steps
Here are the steps that come up, depending on the job:
- Repair or install flashing at openings and the wall base, and seal joints around windows, doors, and penetrations.
- Replace damaged or corroded lath, overlapping replacement lath at the edges and tying it to existing lath.
- Brush away loose particles and dust, then lightly dampen the repair area and its edges.
- Apply acrylic bonding agent to the edges where new stucco will meet the existing surface.
- Use premixed patch for a shallow surface repair or mix stucco material for a deeper patch.
- Press the material into the repair; for a deeper patch, build it in coats and score the scratch coat before applying the next coat.
